  • Online Access: The Solano County Superior Court maintains an online searchable platform for all cases heard in the superior court. To view records on the platform, interested parties must first register or log in on the search platform. Next, they must upload a proof of identification document before they are able to view records on the platform.   • In-Person Access: Record seekers can access court records by visiting the courthouse where the case was heard. You are to visit and make inquiries at the courthouse between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays, excluding public holidays. The court may require a valid ID and search fees before retrieving and disclosing requested court files. You may pay a $15 search fee along with a $0.5 per page fee for copied documents.

  • Mail and Phone Requests: Persons or entities can send mail requests for court records to the court’s address. The request must include the following details:
    • A completed request form for court records.
    • A valid ID.
    • The required fees in the form of a check made payable to the Solano County Superior Court. Attach a "Not to Exceed $75" in the memo line at the bottom of the check.

Fees for Court Records in Solano County

The Solano County Superior Court charges fees for copying, searching, and certifying court documents. Inquirers are required to pay $0.5 per page of copied documents. Record searches cost $15 if it takes more than 10 minutes to locate requested documents. Requesters are also required to pay $40 to certify a court document.

Criminal Records Access in Solano County

In Solano County, criminal history checks are handled by the California Department of Justice. The agency creates criminal history records, or rap sheets, by collecting criminal data from local agencies. State residents may obtain a copy of their criminal history record by following these steps:

  1. Fill out the Live Scan request form in English or Spanish.
